Dewitt Honored as Officer of the Month

The Searcy Police Department honored Patrolman Todd Dewitt as the Officer of the Month for his service and hard work for the city of Searcy.

Dewitt has been in law enforcement for a year and a half. He has a wife, two daughters, and two step-daughters. He has attended college at Arkansas State University in Beebe and Harding University. His favorite part about working as a Patrolman is the ability to be a servant to the people of Searcy and to protect them. Dewitt feels that Searcy is one of the best places to work and is very family-oriented.

Searcy’s Chief of Police, Kyle Osborne, said, “Officer Todd Dewitt is a classic example of what we look for in an officer. I have nothing but praise for his efforts.”
