Trumpeter Swan Set to Arrive

The Trumpeter Swans, making the winter flight south, have standing reservation at Magness Lake in Heber Springs. Dick Herget tells the Sun Times this should be the weekend they make their stop in Heber.

Going on past experience, Herget says the first full moon in November is the normal swan arrival time.

If you go out to Magness Lake for a look this weekend remember the lake is on private property and visitors are reminded to park in designated areas, keep the area clean of litter and don't park on the causeway. The lake is located just a few miles east of Heber Springs on Hays Road.
