Lowest of Low for Crooks

Memphis sometime gets a bad rap as a city with a lot of senseless crime, well this story can certainly justify that. The Commercial Appeal is reporting today a wheelchair belonging to an 8 year old girl named Annabelle, was stolen from her caretaker yesterday. Annabelle’s caretaker says the chair was left unattended for just a few minutes on Friday evening when someone swiped it.

Police are hoping the wheelchair will turn up at a pawn shop or on the side of the road somewhere, meanwhile the family is hoping the insurance company will cover the loss of the chair valued at over $8,000 dollars.
