Bison Baseball Signs Adam Robertson

Nov 18, 2008

Harding University head baseball coach Dr. Patrick McGaha announced Monday the signing of Adam Robertson of Rose Bud, Ark., to an NCAA National Letter of Intent. Robertson, who is currently a sophomore at the University of Arkansas-Fort Smith, will join the Bisons for the 2010 season.

As a freshman at UAFS Robertson, a 5-foot-10, 195-pound outfielder, hit .358 with five home runs and 39 RBI. He played his high school baseball at Searcy High School where he earned All-State honors as a senior after hitting .360 and recording a 7-1 record as a pitcher.

"Adam had an outstanding high school career in Searcy, and we really hoped to sign him out of high school," McGaha said. "He had a great freshman year in junior college, and we know that he can hit at the Division II level and make an immediate impact offensively."
