The City of Searcy is looking for Searcy Residents interested in serving 

on the newly established Tree Board.  The Board will consist of 9 

members and shall include a nurseryman, professional horticulturist, 

landscape architect or master gardener as well as a citizen at large. The 

Board shall meet monthly and serve without compensation.  Board 

members will serve a 3 year term. 

The Searcy Tree Board responsibilities will include maintaining, 

protecting and improving trees located on City/Public property.  The 

Board shall provide technical advice upon request and plan Arbor Day 

events.
