Max Clark was a big man with an even bigger heart for children in need, and that’s why he was so dedicated to Searcy Children’s Homes. A tireless volunteer, he single-handedly created an annual charity golf tournament to benefit Searcy Children's Homes, which since 1974 has provided foster care in a group residential setting. After his death, the board of Searcy Children's Homes gave his name to the tournament that remains the agency’s largest fund-raising event.

This year our 12th annual Max Clark Memorial Golf Tournament will be held May 4th at The Course at River Oaks. We ask you, the Searcy community, to partner with us once again to provide safe homes and needed services to children from White County and neighboring counties who can no longer be cared for by their families.  Today’s children who are abandoned, abused or neglected are challenged with special needs. Without generous people like you children would go without basic needs. Please join us in caring for children in need. Thank you for your help.
