In anticipation of the summertime temperatures, the elevated heat index, and for the saftey and concern of its workers, the city of Searcy sanitation department is temporarily adjusting operating hours. 

Beginning Monday, June 4, 2012, the schedule for the various areas of work will be as follows:

• Residential garbage pick up to begin at 6:00am

• Curbside recycle pick up to begin at 6:00am

• All other areas of operation will remain the same.

This is a temporary scheduling change and will remain in effect until further notice.
