White County Man Arrested Again for Burglary
Deputies with the White County Sheriff's Office have arrested Johnny Whaley, 34, of Judsonia for Residential Burglary. This is the second time in less than a month that Whaley has been in custody.
Whaley was out on a $50,000 bond from a burglary that took place on February 20 in White County.
At approximately 2 p.m. on Monday, Deputies were called to a home on Dam Site Road in Judsonia for a burglary that had taken place. The victim, whose name has not been released, said in a statement that he encountered the suspect upon arrival to his residence and was shot with a bow and arrow (the arrow did not have a tip and did not penetrate the victim).
The victim them stated that a physical altercation took place before finally spraying the suspect with mace. The suspect then fled on foot.
Later that evening, the Sheriff's Department was once again called to the home when the victim heard more noises in the lower level of the residence. When Deputies arrived, they arrested Whaley and he is now being held in the White County Detention Center.
