Museum of Discovery’s Tinkerfest
Searcy Beats & Eats & Breakaway 3937 Robotics have partnered up with Museum of Discovery for the first Beats & Eats event of the season on Saturday, May 1st in Downtown Searcy, 9 am – 1 pm.
This interactive event will showcase 10 activity stations loaded with STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) fun for all ages! The Museum of Discovery will also be performing the “Awesome Science Show” at 10 am and 12 pm on the Citizen Park Stage.
This winter, the Museum of Discovery experienced devastating $2 million destruction of their facility due to severe winter weather. To help them recover and continue offering STEM experiences, we are hosting this as a ticketed fundraising event.
Tickets may be purchased online for two timeslot options: 9 am – 11 am and 11 am – 1 pm at www.hardingtickets.com. Admission is $6 for adults and children, 2 years old and under are free. Tickets will be available at the gate but capacity is limited, so secure yours by purchasing online today.
We invite all who participate to join us in helping the museum recover by purchasing tickets and also by making individual donations at the event.
