Searcy’s Historic Christmas Tours

Take a Christmas Tour of Historic Spots in Searcy! There are 4 tours available on December 4 and 11.
The Searcy Holiday of Lights Committee is hosting Searcy’s Historic Christmas Tours this holiday season! For $10, you can reserve a seat on a 40-passenger bus to see festive historical sites in the Searcy area. Get ready for a ride through history – your tour guide is Shelly Churchwell, president of the White County Historical Society!
Begin your tour at First United Methodist Church, then enjoy a tour of the Black House Art Gallery. Hear stories of old along the way to Smyrna Church, where refreshments will be provided.
Other points of interest include the White County Courthouse, Cumberland Presbyterian Church, the Rialto Theater, American Legion Hut, Searcy Post Office (Wilbur D. Mills Building), Mayfair Hotel, Spring Park, Pioneer Village, Rendezvous Cafe & Missouri-Pacific Bus Depot, Paschall House, Strother-Wilbourn Title Company and much more!
This tour is suggested for ages 12 and up. We encourage younger children to take the Christmas Lights Tour on December 4 at 7 p.m. or December 11 at 6 p.m.
