SEARCY, Ark. – There is now another option when it comes to home-delivered meals in town. Meals Now, an Arkansas-based food-delivery service, has officially expanded to Searcy.
Meals Now, based out of Batesville, began operations in May of 2020. While the COVID-19 pandemic made starting a new business difficult, Meals Now found that they were able to be an asset to local restaurants by safely connecting them with diners.
In the last few months, Meals Now has expanded operations to Heber Springs, Mountain View, and now Searcy, with more cities expected to be added this year.
There are a few things that set Meals Now apart from other delivery services, including Google Integration, delivery radius, better driver pay, and a focus on working with and promoting locally-owned restaurants.
“One thing we are able to do for local businesses,” said Chintan Patel, CEO of Meals Now, “is set up Google Integration so that customers can place a delivery order on a restaurant’s Google Business page. This is available to all of our partner restaurants.”
Meals Now also offers videos and other promotions for local restaurants on their Facebook page.
According to Market Watch, food delivery app use doubled over the past year. That’s why consumers are more discerning than ever, looking for reliability, local knowledge, and access to restaurants they love.
Luckily, the Meals Now app and website are incredibly easy to use.
- Enter an address for delivery.
- Select a favorite restaurant
- Place your order.
- Get ready to eat.

Right now, there are 16 restaurants in Searcy available through Meals Now, with five locally-owned; Mi Pueblito, The Warehouse, Eddie’s BBQ, Rock House, and two Subway franchises. More restaurants are being added this week.
“Meals Now drivers can deliver to anyone inside the 72143 zip code,” said Patel.
