BEEBE, Ark. – Arkansas State University-Beebe invites the community to view the 2020 Spring Virtual Commencement program online on Saturday, May 9 at 10 a.m.

Dr. Jennifer Methvin, ASU-Beebe Chancellor, said: “The Covid-19 health crisis created a challenge, but our Commencement Committee developed a plan to celebrate our graduates virtually and safely.  Please join our faculty, staff and families in celebrating our spring graduates.”

ASU-Beebe will live-stream a broadcast via Youtube with all the same components of a traditional commencement ceremony, including the calling of graduates’ names, degrees, and honors.  Family and friends will be able to celebrate their student graduate during the broadcast in the “live chat” feature.

Additionally, the spring graduates were given the option to walk in the traditional graduation program during the fall commencement in December 2020.
