If you’re in the mood for a locally-owned sweet treat, then Chillz is the place for you.

Soda Jerk
Grabbing dinner downtown? Make sure and save room for dessert at Soda Jerk. It’s like taking a trip back in time to a classic soda shop, but without the necessary time machine.
There are three ways to experience Soda Jerk. You can go with a scoop of Loblolly ice-cream in a cone or sprinkled with some pretty sweet toppings. There is, of course, the cold refreshing sodas made from house-made syrups. Or you can go with the best option; combine the two and order a Soda Jerk float. With gluten and dairy-free options, this ice-cream parlor has something sweet for everyone.

Cookie Basket
You’ll get more than just a scoop when you order one of the Cookie Basket’s Delite Jars!
It starts with a glass mason-jar filled to the brim with cold, creamy Yarnell’s ice cream. Then it’s topped high with ‘over-the-top’ goodies. With names like Brownie Bliss, Birthday Jar, Salted Caramel Pretzel, Smores, and Lemon Ice Tea Baby, you get the idea that these thinks are some seriously fun sweets!
Finish it yourself or bring a friend — if you’re into sharing — but just make sure you don’t leave town without grabbing one. Also, be sure to grab a fresh-baked cookie while you’re there. Considering they put the word “cookie” in their name, you have to assume their awesome.
